Meet Molly
My passion & curiosity for makeup artistry was first sparked when I was in middle school, my Mom gave me my first ever kohl pencil eyeliner in the shade βchocolateβ.
As the years passed by I spent my spare time after school perfecting my makeup application, trying new techniques & playing with colour. Iβd often arrive at school with a full smokey eye & winged eyeliner.
I started volunteering for my school's theater program, offering makeup to my peers in the productions. That quickly snowballed into doing glam for graduatesβ prom celebrations and then eventually bridal makeup! I remember constantly being asked βwhat do you want to do when you grow up?β. My answer was βmakeupβ, although that never seemed to completely satisfy the person asking the question. I enrolled in University & decided to study Psychology right after high school. I found my studies riveting, completing 3 out of the 5 year program, and taking an interest in some business courses. I just felt incomplete - like my creative & artistic side was not being honored or fulfilled.
I wasnβt totally confident in what I wanted to do with my life. But I knew I just wanted to meet people where they were in life & if I could help them feel their bestβ¦
I decided to pursue my passion for artistry and I enrolled in Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver, BC. I completed their Global Makeup diploma program in 2018, where I was coached from top leading industry professions learning: Bridal, Editorial, TV & Film, Airbrushing,
SPFX & hair styling.

After graduation I relocated to Calgary, AB and started working as a beauty advisor for Sephora.
I value the four years I spent with Sephora, learning about a multitude of brands & products- filling my professional kit with the best of the best. I loved getting to know so many unique artists & clients.
During special shared moments with my clients, my beliefs were confirmed: makeup is more than just products. There is no right or wrong way to do makeup, as it is an art form to be used as self expression. It is my goal to ensure every person that sits in my makeup chair feels safe, understood, and most importantly like their authentic beautiful self.
In September 2021 I stepped away from the retail atmosphere, to focus on my family and my growing artistry business. In 2022 I had the opportunity to work with a local beauty college in downtown Calgary as their Makeup instructor, which paired perfectly with my bridal bookings. Teaching eager students & clients my techniques has been a dream come true!
I have had the honor of servicing 200+ brides over the years. I adore connecting with brides to collaborate & curate the bridal look of their dreams!
